Rice vs Vanderbilt vs Wash U St. Louis vs USC for Pre Med

I plan on going the pre-med route during college, pursuing a biochemistry or neuroscience major with a second major or minor in the humanities. Would appreciate some insight (med school acceptance, grading, intellectual environment, research, enjoyable undergrad experience) on which of these four colleges would be best for a pre med student?

USC if no tuition, NO doubt . Even if they were all the same price, USC would be a good choice.

Personally, I’d go with Vanderbilt. They have a hospital and medical school right on campus where many first year students can intern and do research. There are less premed students at Vandy than at Rice so probably less competition, and the school is much smaller than USC so it’ll be easier to stand out too. Rice and Vanderbilt have very different social scenes though, so visit both and choose the one that you think you’ll enjoy the most.
