@curiouswonder Thanks for the update. I have not asked my son if he got any updates from Rice so I hadn’t heard about that e-mail. I wonder why they took one person off the waiting list if they were oversubscribed. There have been other schools like Harvard and Stanford taking kids off their waiting lists. Harvard took 40-50 and Stanford supposedly took more than that. Then they released a lot of their waiting list candidates. Maybe there will be some movement trickling down. But I agree with you that it will be a while before they get back to us. And even then, the odds won’t be good.
