rich?

I like southern girls and how they dress.

^^^^damn straight.

southern girls tends to be more ... i dunno, just more interesting than any others.

Awww...why thank you. Wait...what? Are you using interesting in the normal sense of the word? :-P

Didn't we agree that you were special?

I agree with what dsmo said about international Asians particularly in regard to Koreans. Living costs in Korea nowadays is obscenely demanding so I think in order for a kid to attend college in the states, have their apt. rent paid, and drive a nice car, their parents must be pretty well-off.

I had a roommate from Singapore.... he had a $6,000 bike that he rode on a daily basis around campus.

Yeah the Koreans are loaded. One of my Korean friends is the son of some Samsung executive. He has a BMW AND a Mercedes SLK here. One for him and one for his girlfriend. The guy doesn't study. All he does everyday is smoke, party, and hangout with his girlfriend.

^^ just wonder how they get in first lol....

Their parents probably make some "charitable donations" to UM. I know one kid who spends more time in one night at Necto than he does in class all week. Granted, there are those who get in on merit but for the most part, probably not.

Do most of the students at Mich care about the brand of your clothes or other things?

lol no

we're not pretentious like that, just about education stuff =p

I'm Asian, and a first generation college student, i was probably among the poorest 5% at UM, not all Asian Americans at UM are rich. I think the international students tend to be the richest, although I do understand that it's hard to tell international Asian apart from us, a hint would be that international asians smoke a lot, and tend to wear a lot of Abercrombie.

One of the international kids that I know is from Dubai. Ooh man...

By definition, international students at most US universities come from well-off families. Not necessarily rich, but at least upper income. Let us face it, most universities, including Michigan, offer zero in way of merit or need based assistance. So internationals end up having to pay full tuition, with very few exceptions.

Aha! :D

Cvjn, I am sending 12 new students (Polydentate included) from Dubai your way in the fall! hehe!

Alexandre, get some to play Poker. We need some new rich blood. Hell, we've even had to resort to pushing a bit in the tour guides =p

Seriously though, I like your Dubai kids. They are pretty down to Earth even though they probably are swimming in diamonds and oil and other expensive things :D (horrible generalization)
