I sure hope it doesn't have any liberals...just kidding!! I think you'll find liberals pretty much anywhere you go, and they'll be easy to spot, because they're always so loud about it.

But in all seriousness, I did an overnight visit there, and politics were never really mentioned (unlike at wake forest where the conservatives definitely prevailed). One girl at Richmond asked me which way I leaned, and she said the campus overall didn't really lean either way.

Thank you... I guess you are right, I will find people like me anywhere. I dont want to go to a campus full of only Liberals either or I will leave college as a proponent of communism, lol.

As I am an international Student, I was once clarified by a resident of Maine about the concept of conservatives and liberals in USA. I was quite fascinated. But I definitely would prefer the 'liberals' as the word itself seems to give this immense sense of freedom to me. I am definitely going to lean for them

Well I also consider myself "international" despite the fact that I have been living in the U.S. for 3 years (I am Colombian and I lived there until I was 14.) The concept of liberals and conservatives here is amazing because once you find your side, you realize there are mainly two sides to most issues and most people who are in your side will agree with you in almost every issue. For exmaple if you realize you are a liberal (and that just happens) you will find that you think women should have the right to abortion, Iraq was a mistake, Bush is a retard etc. And if politics really mean something to you, you will fall into one group or the other. People who call themselves "neutral" or "moderate" usually dont care much about politics.

I will tell you that us internationals usually tend to be liberals, I dont know why its just the way it is.

Political views are are a big thing for me because it tells me a lot about the student body. I dont necessarily want to go to a place with only liberals, but I want to go to a college where there are people like me. From the replies to my post here it seems Richmond is quite diverse as far as political orientation, and thats precisely what I am looking for.
