<p>i got a notification (phone call) about winning the artist scholarship 2 days after the 3 day trip that the school set up
however, i got the official letter very late, almost 1 week later from when the committee told me to expect it

<p>I hate to do this, but i really think this might stir up a thought that might put some of you at ease…</p>
<p>This might just be for boatwright, but while i was taking my interview (i wasn’t even there. Im an international applicant, so they took the interview over the phone), I asked them how long it would take for me to find out. they said the recommendations were to be made that friday, and I’d be CALLED over the weekend… now this is exactly how it went. I think it was the 20th when I got their call telling me of my selection as a boatwright scholar. So, incase you guys haven’t heard yet, I think you should just call the university up and ask them if they’ve told us all, because you just might be waiting for a letter than isn’t coming. It might all be telephonically told to the winners…</p>
<p>I’m sorry if this puts any of you down… I just hate to see the parents and the students go through the agony of not knowing…</p>
