Richmond Scholars Finalists

The calls have begun! My friend just got accepted. I hope I hear soon!

So is it safe to assume that those who have not received calls were not selected?

The calls have only just begun! There is hope for all of us.

Haha, sorry. I seem overly anxious. For some reason my laptop said that your original post was an hour earlier than it actually was (before I sent the message).

Ahhhh i got full tuition for science scholars!!! So excited right now!!! Asdfasdlkjfhalskdjfh

Congratulations! Did you just get the call?

No it was at like 8:00, but I wasn’t home so my dad talked to the guy. I don’t know if it’s just science scholars that are coming out tonight or what, but apparently the guy said I should be getting an email soon as well. I imagine that the calls will continue to come over the next few days, especially for other designations, so don’t worry if you haven’t heard yet!

Goodness, I’m so nervous.

Hmm…my friend got called for Boatwright an hour ago. I suppose that means I’m out.

Boatwright Scholar. Might be the happiest day of my life.

OLDHAAAAAAAAMMMMM!!
Through email though (probably coz I am an international :D)

Does the committee only notify you if you’ve been selected? Or will everyone get a notification regardless?

Congrats everyone!! See you in a couple of weeks!

Oldham Scholar! though I won’t be able to attend the event! I won’t be able to get a us visa that quick… (I am an International Student from Pakistan)

For those of you that have been notified, what is your stats? I thought I had a very good chance of being either Boatwright or Science, but didn’t get a phone call :(

I got the call last Tuesday and the email the next day-- Boatwright Scholar!
Who’s going to the weekend? (See you there!)

if you are a Richmond Scholar, I’m curious to know what schools you were accepted to, but turned down to go to U of R as a Richmond Scholar.

@Xwords59 I am an international student, so my list is non-US but here it is: U of Tokyo, Hong Kong Uni (B. Eng), Hong Kong Uni of Science & Technology (B.Sci in Biology), U of Waterloo-Canada (Honors Systems design eng. and Honors Biology), Uni of British Columbia-Canada (B. Sci). All with varying amounts of scholarship

Rice and Vanderbilt, plus a bunch of other schools with substantial scholarships (Rochester, etc.)
