Richmond, Wake Forest, and William and Mary

Hi, I’m a currently a junior who is interested in studying business and I want to gather some thoughts/opinions regarding these schools.

Please share life on campus, social life, academics and overall school spirit.

I have my mind absolutely set on business, so I prefer a school with direct admissions into the business program. Therefore, if you have any suggestions around the same academic level, please share.

Please send any information that you can. Thanks!

BUMP.

Any input at this point would be fantastic

Okay, Wake Forest because I used to have a great boss who went there. Richmond would be my second choice because I worked with a colleague who went there, nice guy, not the brightest but solid. And I’d confuse Williams with William and Mary, though I understand they’re different in many ways. I know the president of Williams and he’d be pissed to read this, lol.

Hi I’m a mother of current William and Mary student studying science. He considered all three of the schools you’ve listed and we visited all three. Obviously William & Mary was the best for him. Friendly students, beautiful campus, just the right vibe. He also was very interested in Wake Forest. Richmond fell off the list after our visit. The kids there did not seem happy or excited to be there - not friendly - kind of pretentious. William & Mary is filled with high achieving kids and it is hard work, but Wake Forest’s nickname is “Work Forest” so I’m sure it’s the same. If you are not a Virginia resident (we are not) the value of the tuition may be better at Wake Forest.

Bottom line - all three are fantastic schools and you won’t go wrong with any of them.

To clarify on “value of the tuition” I’m not talking about education - more the other things, like food, dorm quality, etc.
