Rigor of Classes

The colleges I have been looking at really care about the rigor of classes.

As a freshmen and sophomore i took the hardest classes offered for my year. But now, things have changed at my school and the AP/Honors classes that were not offered to me are now offered to current freshmen, soph. etc. Do the Admissions Officers realize that those classes are offered now but weren't offered to me then? And therefore, realize that I was taking the hardest classes I could possibly take?

Ask your counselor for a copy of your school’s profile report that they submit along with counselor recommendations. That will show you how your school is presenting the context to go with your transcript. Sorry if I didn’t write that very clearly.

Good luck.

We had a similar issue

We contacted the GC and she said that she’d make a note on the School Profile that these classes were not available for the class of 09.
