I’m currently a student at the Dearborn satellite, and I’m majoring in CS. I have a 3.4 GPA and am considered a URM. I’m considering transferring to the A2 campus, but I don’t want to risk lowering my GPA to <3.0 and thus killing my job/internship prospects. After college, I want to stay in the suburbs of Detroit and work at an automotive company as a software engineer.
How much harder are the EECS classes at A2 compared to Dearborn? At Dearborn, I usually take 2-3 CS classes per semester, and spend about ~30 hours/week on all of them total. I haven’t found any classes to be “extraordinarily” difficult. How different is it at A2? Should I make the move or stay?
Thanks
