Rigorous schedule?

So, I took Honors Pre-calculus sophomore year. My guidance counselor told everyone in this track to take AP Stats junior year and Calculus senior year, so I followed her advice. However, some people chose to take Calc junior year.

Now, I think this may be a rather paranoid and silly question, but will colleges care that I didn't take AP Calc junior year when I could have, especially since some other students did?
Would taking AP Calc junior year have looked better than taking it senior year?

Colleges will see that you took AP statistics your junior year, so they’d know why you were taking calc senior year. I would recommend taking AP calc junior year though, because it’d be easier to do it right after pre- calc, just a suggestion
