Love him, like him, or maybe just tolerate him, I happen to think that some of the outrageous things that came out of his mouth (scripted and otherwise) were hilarious. I listened to a podcast where he was the guest, he truly had no idea how actually funny he was. The world is a little less funny right now.
I hope he didn’t suffer.
I saw that earlier. How sad. I loved him in Will & Grace (except for the seriously ridiculous series finale) and American Horror Story, plus too many guest appearances to list. RIP.
I feel bad because I DIDNT know of him. But I am seeing an outpouring of love from friends, celebs, etc that it is clear he was beloved. 
I “discovered” him on a show called “The Cool Kids”. Thought he was great. So sad to hear this news.
He did cute videos during covid. So funny!
Finally was able to buy his first home at 67. Was so thrilled.

That surprises me! He had a recurring role on Will and Grace, which is how I knew him, but he became an Instagram star during Covid for a new generation of kids. Growing up in TN gay and his dad died when Leslie was 11 – he said he learned to be funny to keep the bullies at bay. He was so sweet and a little dirty. Here’s an example:
