<p>Unfortunately what they told you is probably true. RISD is a very expensive school and does not have a lot of financial aid available. I’m sure with the economy the way it is, RISD had even more requests for financial aid than usual. </p>

<p>Pratt and RISD are basically the same type of architecture school (both have roots in visual arts). Both are really competitive schools, and like lyx said, you will find a lot more big name internships in NYC than RI. Plus, you got 15 K to Pratt.</p>
