Rising junior taking a college course?

Hi! So I am most likely be going to take a college course at Rutgers this summer for college credit, and will be 6 weeks long. I am considering taking an intro to international relations, intro to art history, starting a small business class or any social science course.

I know it does not compare to some of the prestigious summer programs out there, but do you think that this is a good way to spend my summer? Or will my time be better spent doing something else? Any answers are truly appreciated, thanks!

If that’s what you want to do, and if you’re interested in those topics, then it’s a great way to spend your summer! Even if it’s not some super-competitive summer program, you’re still learning and getting a bit ahead - way better than people who spend their summers watching TV and partying. If you’re going to be living at home, then you could also volunteer, work part-time, read all the books you’ve ever wanted to read, or do something else that you’re passionate about at the same time!
