Rising senior, need to take ACT and SAT IIs by October. How to?

Hey all,

I'm turning senior, but I haven't gotten a satisfying test scores. But I want to apply for one of the most competitive schools for early action. I have SAT score, but it's still very low (2060). I would love to take another SAT since that was my first sitting, but I must take SAT subject tests in October, and there is no SAT in September. So I'm thinking about taking ACT instead of SAT, but I've never studied ACT.

So my first question is, do you think it's better to take ACT in September or October? It seems like I would have more peace in mind, if I take ACT on September 8th. If I take it in late October, I will have more time to get ready for it. But I will have to keep up with the school classes, so I don't know how it's gonna work out. I've studied SAT subject tests a little bit, but not very much. I don't even know if I should spend time more on SAT subject tests or ACT.

And second, is there anyone who was in the same situation? How did you guys studied for two subject tests and ACT at the same time over the summer, Do you think I have enough time to get a good score from all of them? I'm targeting for 34 for ACT, 770+ for Math II and U.S. History subject test... I finished Precalc with A+ and took a year of U.S. History, a semester of U.S. gov't and a year of American Studies, but when I tried practice tests, they were much more in detail than I thought. Is there anyone who prepared more than three tests in 2.5 months and got a great result out there?

Thank you.

I am in a similar position, but I will be taking the ACT in September and then taking Subject Tests in October. It’s doable.
