Didn't they already have a thread like this?

They did. I am amazed on how much AP's SOPHMORES take these days. One is quite a workload for a sophmore. Two is stretching it. Three is ridiculous. Above three, you are dead. In junior, above three is ok. But sophmore...cmon. Are you cmon. You can't be serious

Lily you cant be serious with all those AP's. In my school they hardly let sophomores take AP's, I was lucky to get European History. Btw, thats nine courses, you guys have 9 periods a day? Please explain, I'm interested... Maybe your self studying some courses?

My Schedule:

Geometry Honors

Wow. Lily 5 AP classes. Thats something that few senior would even consider taking.

I have 8 classes but it rotates like 4 classes a day then the other 4 classes the next day then it rotates like that. Any one elses schedule like that.

Don't worry Lily. I took 8 courses sophomore year, including AP Physics B and AP Computer Science AB. I also self-studied AP Calculus AB and BC. I got a 5 on all of them. I think if you are dedicated, you can pull it off, though with 5, you might be missing out on things that are important for kids your age. Remember, 10 years from now, nobody gives a damn about how many AP's you took. Everything in moderation. Also, hopefully you took an AP freshmen year(I took AP Stats freshmen year), so you get a taste of how to prepare. AP exams are not very easy, no matter which way you slice it, especially when you have multiples of them.

Lily might be on block scheduling at her school. My school doesn't have block scheduling, also most sophmores can't take the AP's because there are so many prerequisites, I really had to persuade the administration to let me take AP Psychology.
