RMWC vs TSU? Which one should i go? gimme some advice!

Hey
i am an international student from China(female). I got admitted by RMWC with fairly generous FA. but I havent decided to attend there or Truman State Uni. TSU gives me 5500 dollars(the maximum amount of FA they give to Int'l is 6000). Thus whichever school i go to , my family contribution would be around 13000 per year, which my family could afford.

I love Virginia more than Missouri. But i am concerned about academics and the futher.

I want to know more about the reputation of both schools. My intended majors are listed: 1. Economics; 2. Psychology. I noticed that these two majors are both quite popular in RMWC and TSU. But i have not idea which one is better on offering the two programmes.

Whats ur impression on these two schools? I would love to hear ur opinions.

What is RMWC?

I'll answer that for her. Randolph-Macon Women's college.

But, as of this past year it was voted to start admitting men.

It's now called Randolph College. I'd go for that one.

would u plz tell me the reason of your choice?

bump.................

The campus in Lynchburg is absolutely gorgeous. The faculty and staff are informative and friendly. A majority of the buildings are connected by breezeways where it's possible to leave your room, head to class, back to dinner and still wear flip flops in the dead of winter, snow on the ground. RMWC, now RC, is undergoing many renovations, new buildings to accomdate the addition of men and their sport programs. Daughter #1 was given nearly a full scholarship but decided on William and Mary. Daughter #2 is leaning strongly towards RC and will apply there next year.

PM me if you like. Daughter has been recruited since a sophomore in high school when she won an award from the college. I left you a note on the VT post.

I think RC is very welcoming of internationals and a very good small school. A few years ago a mother from Africa was in town for her daughter's graduation from RC. She became very ill and the college and local folks saw to it that she got complete healthcare in the hospital for no charge.
