Road Trip to Houston... MP3 Suggestions?

So I'm thinking about re-loading my mp3 player so I can listen to it during the long drive to Houston. I'd like for you to recommend some good songs that I should download. Extra kudos go to anyone who can suggest some good emo/indie bands and songs I should check out. So... start suggesting!

Pff... if you want to listen to depressing music, forget "emo" and listen to the truly depressing stuff like Nirvana.

And for indie-ish rock, Franz Ferdinand is good.

Tool, Zeppelin, Floyd, Rage, Clutch, Queens of the Stone Age, The Who, Hendrix

screw emo/indie.

Lynyrd Skynyrd! Blast Freebird the entire time. That is possibly the greatest song of all time. Well, the guitar/second half anyway.

so if you're lonely
u know im here, waiting for you.

i'm just a cross hair
im just a shot away from you.

and if you leave me here
you leave me BROKEN SHATTERED ALIVE.
.............................
i say don't you know?
you say you don't know.
i say . . . TAKE. ME. OUT.

so emo.
the guitar on this song is so cool though.

Pearl Jam has more great songs than you can count.
