Robertson Scholars?

How competitive is getting an interview for the Robertson?

Unfortunately, I had the deluded idea that I was going to be accepted ED to my dream school, and, well, that didn’t happen. That said, I didn’t put much effort into my Robertson (both UNC and Duke) application. While my essays weren’t horrible, I don’t think they were stand out by any means, either. I have pretty good ECs and awards. (For privacy sakes, I will not list here.) My test score is top one percent (35). My class rank is top 3%. So, I have all of the academic stats checked. I’m not sure how good my teacher LOR was, but my supplement is pretty good; I’ve read it. I am very comfortable with interviews. How competitive is getting to the Skype interview round? Follow up: if one makes it to that round, is more weight put on the interview or the application when selecting the finalists for the weekend?

If anyone made it past the application-screening round of the Robertson, please help me out. Thanks!!

Does anyone know when we receive notification about the next round?

Didn’t make finalist for Robertson. Best to all that’s still in it.

My daughter was just notified that she is a finalist alternate. Do any of you know how likely she will be to get off of the alternate list and be able to attend the finalist weekend. We’d also love any advice if there is anything she could do at this point to help her chances? I’m wondering how many kids who are alternates are get off the list? Thank you.
