Rolling Admission Process

When is the application for the fall term usually available?
When is the earliest acceptance notification given?

Thanks!

I think the application was available during their Open Houses during the summer. My son submitted his application during one of their programs. There was no application fee so all the students were filling it out and handing them in.

I seem to recall the acceptances started to arrive in early October but my memory is fuzzy on the exact time frame.

applications are available during summer open houses

people started getting decisions in early october this year

Do you think that they review the summer applications immediately, or do you think they keep them on file and begin review in the fall?

well they don't start reviewing them until they have your transcript, unless you are on top of everything and can manage to get a copy of your transcript from school to send over the summer, then they can start reviewing you asap, but that's not very likely

^True. Just as an example, I'm pretty sure that our high school doesn't release the transcripts for seniors until around mid-to-late September.

For our school system, you can get a copy of the transcript during the summer months. Once the gradebook is closed and grades are exported, it doesn't take very long for the final grades to appear on the student's transcript. If you can access your child's transcript online, you can see when the grades appear (sometime even before the report card is sent out) then you should be able to get an official transcript from the school.
