Rolling Admission?

Does UVM have Rolling Admission??

I have a cousin who applied to UVM back in 2004 or 2005 and he got in in October... does this still happen? I would love to be accepted to one school that soon.

Any insight would be appreciated!

I think there is a VIP application that allows you to apply early and hear early. Call the admissions office and ask them. I think there is no rolling admissions at UVM outside of the VIP app.

great. and what do you mean by VIP app? I would like to consider myself Very important (lol…) but are there specific requirements I would have to meet in order to qualify?

I think they send it to you.

My son was mailed his VIP app. He was promised a decision in 2 weeks, sent in by November 1st, but did not hear til December. i think he got the VIP appl beacause of his SAT scores

I got a 2190 on my SATs and never recall receiving a VIP app. Ugh…

I got a 2190 as well and got the app. Mind if I ask you what the breakdown was on your SATs?

I understand that the VIP applications are offered to those that have visited UVM. It stands for “Vermont In Person” and isn’t tied to SAT or ACT scores, GPAs or other qualifications. You all sound well qualified and I wish you all good luck!

I didn’t visit Vermont and I got the VIP app.

Interesting synx111…I had read about VIP in other postings and from the UVM site. Maybe there are some slots reserved dependent on scores? Hmmm…don’t know.

I got a 720M 720CR and 750W with an 11 essay.

I feel pretty confident that I’ll get in but I wish I got to hear back earlier.

I only got a 1990 on my SATs- 630CR 660W 700M, and got VIP status. I have not visited the school, nor have I shown any interest in it whatsoever (I had no plans of applying prior to them emailing me saying I get a free application haha)

My son visited, but did not receive a VIP app.

My son has never set foot in VT ( although he plans to ski there next week), yet he got the VIP app. I was just guessing it was because of his SAT scores- he also had a 2090
