<p>Michigan isn’t even sure what they’re doing yet. I called them and at first they said that rolling apps wouldn’t be considered until after EA apps were finished, but then they called me back and told me if I got in my forms early, I could possibly get my response as early as mid November.</p>

<p>The main reason for the change from Early Response to EA is due to them joining the Common App and needing to choose a label. Mich doesn’t really care what you do so but this change to EA has clearly created many issues with those applying Yale/Stanford SCEA or Brown ED</p>

<p>Well at least they’ve finally admitted that applying early brings a better chance of admission. Before they steadfastly denied this on their website. I don’t know if they’ve changed this, but I got a message in the e-mail stating so.</p>
