<p>Does University of Michigan (at Ann Arbor) still use Rolling Admissions? I can't find that anywhere on their website yet the Common App. states that UM either has Early Action or Rolling Admissions for fall 2013. </p>
<p>If I do apply via Rolling Admissions though, I'm allowed to apply to another school Early Decision right? </p>

<p>It sort of has both early action and rolling admissions. Apply by Nov 1 and you will get a decision by mid Dec which could be admit, deny, or defer to later. Mich then starts issuing decisions in early Dec for both the EA group and those that apply after Nov 1. In other words, someone who applies after Nov 1 could actually get a decision before an EA applicant. Decisions are rolled out between Dec and March. But applying at any particular point in time does not guarantee a quick decision because Mich may review a file and just hold on it until toward the end after it sees all who have applied.</p>

<p>For most private colleges with EA/ED programs, they will allow MI residents to apply to UM early along with their own EA/ED programs. If you aren’t a MI resident, colleges with restricted EA programs (e.g. Yale, Stanford) will prohibit your applying to UM’s early program.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure that you can apply to UofM early even if you apply to a SCEA school because UofM is a public university.</p>
