Rolling admissions?

What exactly does rolling admissions mean?

your app will be read as it comes in. it doesn’t conflict with any other early application (EA, REA, ED) as far as I know. the earlier the app is sent in, the better generally as it gives you a better chance of getting or getting into the honors college or impacted majors and gives you a better chance at merit scholarships.

Rolling admissions not only means that you’re file gets read, but if possible, they will issue you a decision as soon as possible.

Rolling admissions comes in two forms, complete and delayed. under a complete rolling admissions process, decisions are made and sent out to each applicant within about a few weeks after the applicant applies and gets in everything required (including test scores). With delayed systems, a college will not send out any decisions to the applicants in the first two to three months of the application period but then, often about first week of Dec, they will send out a large number of decisions to those who applied before and thereafter follow a rolling admissions process for any applicants thereafter.
