Due to the volume of applications received, the Ron Brown Scholar Program can only notify semi-finalists and finalists of their status in the competition. This notification will be made in March. Winners of the scholarship will be notified by April 1st and names will be posted on the Ron Brown Scholar Program web site.</p>

<p>How many on this board applied?? I am getting nervous. For those of you who applied what is your profile??</p>

<p>SAT: 780m 680r 650w
ACT: 30</p>

<p>top 15% of class (only 2 Black minorities in entire IB class)</p>

<p>Hardest course load. Over 1000 hours of community service.</p>

<p>Cecchetti trained classical ballet for 12 years</p>

<p>2 years of college math, and took class at Harvard summer school.</p>

<p>Several awards, and I just turned 15 on Valentines day.</p>

<p>Top fifth of class.
Lots of volunteer work. First responder.</p>
