<p>Mine is L1xx. I wonder what K vs L means? I assume the 1 is the first floor for me, so the 2 is second floor for you.</p>
<p>I have no idea what K and L are. Maybe just different sides of the building, like Jester East and West?</p>
<p>Is it really easy to get into Jester even if you made a deposit right before the deadline?</p>
<p>for those who elected to stay in an on-campus dorm for orientation, i think they were all placed in jester west. personally, that wasn’t such a bad experience. i expected it to be horrid living there, and that was just from hearing the word “jester.” however, right after i walked into the room, i realized it was pretty decent. it was nice and roomy, not weird smelling at all, close to the community baths, and had a great view of the ut tower from the window (which is simply inspiring to look at whenever i get the chance to). </p>
<p>so, i figured that all the bad things i’ve heard of jester must be relating to jester east rather than to jester west. that’s unless there are several different types of rooms in jester west and other floors are worse off than the one i was staying at.</p>
<p>Orientation stays in Jester East.</p>
<p>Yeah I was thinking that cuz the building only had 10 floors. and I remember reading somewhere that East had 10 floors and W has 14.</p>
<p>for prather its good that you got the first floor because the building doesnt have elevators and to go back and forth carrying all your stuff up the stairs isnt fun at all</p>
<p>That’s still only a one time inconvenience. Something just feels better about being higher up. Nobody loud on your ceiling, I guess.</p>
<p>I’m the 12th floor…lol nothing enjoyable about waiting for the elevator.</p>
<p>Use the stairs! It’s good exercise. (Well, unless it’s hot out.)</p>

<p>No, I don’t have a preferred roommate and I payed that $50 right before the deadline. I think maybe that’s why but I’m still really hoping I’ll get Jester.</p>
<p>My page also has not shown my roommate or housing assignment. The green text reads the same as well. I’m guessing they’re still processing all of them.</p>
