Room mate question my friend had

<p>She isn't registered, so I'll be asking on her behalf. =)</p>

<p>She and a friend of hers wanted to go to Stony Brook together, unfortunately, one was accepted, and the other was wait listed. My friend who was accepted wanted to know if she will be able to request her wait listed friend as a roommate even though she isn't a stony student yet, but just in case she is admitted. Is that even an option? or can you only request dorms with accepted students, and not the wait listed/possibly entering students?</p>

<p>you can request with ANYONE who has applied. When you type in their email, their name will come up, confirming the request, so she’d know for sure.</p>

<p>If you and your friend request each other, and you are assigned to the same undergrad college, is it pretty much guaranteed that you`ll be roomates?</p>
