Room Rates: Annual or Per Semester?

Is the room rate for single $6880 annual or per semester? That seems kinda low if it's per year, considering that Berkeley's annual rate for a double ranges from $9000 to $11000. Please help, i don't want to get this wrong :)

it says it's annual.. but yea i was thinking the same thing.. kinda low, but i dont mind that at all.;)

It's actually pretty standard...most universities have their rates at 6000 to 7000 region...tthere are exceptions of course. Cornell's housing is actually considered one of the slightly more expensive ones...

Sidetrack a little, how will the payment of housing be like? Is it everything one shot? Monthly? Or what?

that $11,000 figure may be "room and board" and including the meal plans... The $6,880 is just the "Room" part of the equation... you then have to pay a few grand for the meal plan, which would come out to be about $10,000.

oh now i get it, thx blackferrari2006 for clarifying that!

no problem :)
