roomate

whatdoes everyone think of their roomate(S)?
mine is a label whore, it bothered my the first night but i'm over it cuz she has everything i ever wanted and it is also mine too
we have a flat screen tv!

My roommate is really great. She's very nice and considerate. She's like me in the sense that she is at school to get an education, so we have no problem with things being loud so that we both can study. We also communicate well and laugh about a lot of stuff.

being a label whore is probably the best annoying habit your roommate can have because I can't imagine it adveresly affecting you ever. (unless she's such a label whore that even your stuff has to have labels.)

My roomie is from Oregon. I guess I'll find out more about him when I move in next week....dun dun dun.

My so-called roommate, who lives at my house with me (I commute), is an overweight arthritic golden retriever. And also my best friend since 1995.

My roommate and I have extremely different backgrounds (I would explain, but it'd take far too long). We seemed to get along alright when we painted our room, though.

All I care about is getting along and not hating each other, so hopefully that'll work out.

Move-in isn't till Sept 5th, so yeah.

My roomate is never in our room, and he has like 13920 female friends.

Drew00, that means you have good connections already ;)

MacTech92, haha that's too cute. wish my roommate could be my dog too.

^****en right man...Drew: try and hit some of that up

My three roomates are all outta state like me, we all party, we all work out together, we know the same ****...I got lucky because our roomate selection was totally random

Um ya, lucky you FerstAmmendment. One roommate of mine is an international and he is never in the room. Don't ask me where he goes (or my other roomy, the few laughs we are able to share come from this roomy).
As for the other, he NEVER leaves his room. We barely are able to get him to eat with us.

And when I say us, I mean my freind from highschool who by some miracle, was placed in the room right next to us. It's this friend who I party, work out, etc.

Roommates are fun...

I haven't met my roomie in person yet (we move in Sept. 3rd), but from the few times we've talked on aim/facebook, we seem to have a lot in common, and I really can't wait to meet her :)

"^****en right man...Drew: try and hit some of that up"

He (my roomate) is gay, so I have no competition

Mine's sitting right next to me studying to retake a placement test. He's cool, like Dave Matthews, has a Boston accent and has said "wicked" twice since we got here. We're getting along smoothly. Our room is sweet.

Okay, my roommate is a guy I think. Hahaha no she's a girl, but she dresses like a guy, talks like a guy, and acts like a guy. It's really akward. And she likes to watch TV all the time which I hate. I have it for movies, so I can't just listen to music. And she watches anime. and isn't very neat there is already so much trash in our room. I feel bad for wanting to swtich after one night but I think I have to. Any suggestions?

After my roommate last year, I'm looking foward to a single.

Roommate's bad habits don't usually come out right away . . . so wait before jumping to conclusions

Personally, my roommate is going to be in Costa Rica this term - so I'm definitely set.

And she watches anime.

That's that... bad.. because..? Would it be any different if she was watching movies all the time?

Well see I do that too but i have an excuse (I want to become an animation major)

I'd rather have my own room, I can never study in the same room as someone else...i get really annoyed by every little sound he/she makes.

My roommate and I get along really well, but there are so many awkward silences! I hate extreme quiet. But I'd say that she's definitely one of the best friends I've made on campus. Our only problem has been that she gets cold fairly easily, and I get hot easily, so we seem to always be having temperature wars. But that's it.
