Me and my friend have an apartment off Riverside. University Commons. We're looking for a 3rd and/or 4th roommate before switching to a 2b/2ba apartment over the 4x2. If you're interested shoot me an email at deerslayersh@yahoo.com in the next 24hours. Looking for a male, freshman or sophomore, not a headbanger/gothic/weird type of person.

350 a month rent all bills paid. You sign your own lease per bedroom. Washer and dryer in the unit with free gas/elec/water so it’s a pretty good gig.

Please don’t take offense to my trollish statement.

1) If you’re looking to find someone in 24hours [sic], you’ll have a higher turnover rate on craigslist. I hope you’ve posted there, or even on Facebook marketplace.

2) Good grammar will get you very far just like your mother taught you.

3) Spell check.

And finally, Riverside is not a good location for students. maybe if the place was in west or north campus I would have replied.

Eh, Riverside isn’t unlivable, but it would have to be a dirt cheap price to give up the convenience of West or North campus for that area.

lol yall are ******bags. if i was looking for the grammar police as a roommate i might have used better punctuation and been a liberal arts major. and if i could afford to live north/west i wouldve rented a place up there. thank you both for your useful input. :)

My understanding of the apartments on riverside was that if there were extra bedrooms, that the leasing company did roommate matching. Is your complex different? They are making you move because they can’t find anyone to fill the rooms? That sucks

Okay, no problem. I enjoy the compliment.

They aren’t making anybody move. We were looking at finding a roommate we could interact with personally before they did their matching process. We currently have a 4 bedroom, but we’re changing to a 2 bedroom because we don’t want to deal with the other 2 roommates and worrying about whether or not we will get along, especially coming from a city as DIVERSE as Austin.
