Roomates

<p>Hey!
I haven't submitted my student preferences yet because I wanted to see if I could find a roomate before, but I don't want to dorm with someone I know. Plus I saw the options on the solar site and they weren't very extensive.</p>

<p>So, (not to make this look gay or anything, but,) Pakistani Muslim man seeking Asian or African American (of any religion) roomate to dorm with at stony. My Academic interests include prelaw, history and sociology. I am very much into music, film and dramatic theatre. I love real Hip Hop and Jazz, but I also listen to a great deal of Electronic, Rock, R&B and Metal. I also read a lot of books, mostly fiction on nonfiction history. I am involved with my community and have participated in a lot of leadership organizations. I like peace, the arts, world history and political issues.</p>

<p>So yeah that's me in a nutshell. This is my first time posting a topic on this site so yeah. And yeah my school is mostly white so I want to dorm with an Asian or Black person...sorry other Brown people haha</p>

<p>Also, I’m leading towards the Roth or Tabler Quads. So anybody wanna join up at either suite please reply. I really want a diverse suite so it can really be anybody who wants to join :)</p>

<p>is this really the only way to find a roomate? shouldn’t there be a system in place for this so they don’t have unhappy roomates *****ing later?</p>

<p>I think they have something called RoomBug (through Facebook) but I’m not really familiar with this.</p>

<p>Roombug is school-based, it’s just contracted through an outside company. We don’t have the infrastructure here to design that kind of a matching program where you can find each other yourselves.</p>
