So I've signed up for housing and my priority number is 3552. One of my friends applied regular decision so she's going to have a much higher priority number and she wants us to room together. I want to room in Landis, Gilchrist or Cawthorn, by march will it be possible for us to get in there?

Are you honors? Landis is the honors dorm. Gilchrist is the honors overflow. And Cawthon only has like 200 spots. I’m not positive but I think the chances are low, plus because it takes the lower of the two priority numbers you’ll tag on her number

The only way the two of you would live together at this point would be if you both applied to the same Living-Learning Community, were accepted, and got placed together in a room.

Come the March decision date, Housing priority numbers will probably be well over 6000- your friend is going to be relegated to living in a community-style dorm at that point.

You’re probably okay on getting into Landis or Gilchrist, but you aren’t going to get into Cawthon, as most of the space there is reserved for Living-Learning Communities residents (and the few spaces that aren’t go fast).
