Oh, in case any of you were wondering, you can still make roommate requests (just called USC Housing)... just send an email to housing@usc.edu

Just a thought to consider.... They say, in general, that it is not best to room with someone who you currently are, or who you want to be close friends with. (The man in charge of Housing told the parents this info, during the Explore-USC sesssions). He was quite firm about it. He indicated that differences in preferences, disagreements about minor things (cleanliness, noise, sleep hours, study habits, etc. etc.) not only can, but will arise, and can ruin existing, or spoil new friendships. I am not telling you that it WILL happen with you, but i guess that I wanted to pass on, from his years of experience, that it does happen on a regular basis, and just to consider it. I don't mean to be a "parent" about it, but merely to pass on comments from someone (head of housing) who has seen it over and over again.

lol I think roommates fight all the time anyway, and our sleeping habits are similar, so at least we won't throttle each other over that (my best friend sleeps at 10 PM...my goodness). And we both established that we're fairly messy and will study in the library, so hopefully there won't be too many problems. :)

My preference was New/North and then birnkrant.. misoobishi's was birnkrant and then trojan/marks. That was the only disagreement we had so far.. i really want new/north.. @.@ although i guess i wouldn't mind birnkrant
