Well, I just sent in my deposit and CRF form so I'm waiting to receive the housing packet materials. I'm trying to be patient (it's so difficult haha), but I was wondering what to expect from the roommate questionnaire. I've heard it's a bit ambiguous. What kind of questions are you asked?
Also, from your personal experiences, how well do you think that roommates are matched up?
And as a last question, I'm really hoping for a suite in Wolman, but how likely are you to get your first choice housing option if you are a regular decision student and send your housing materials in on time?
Thanks :)

Hey kgabrielle! Congrats on getting accepted to Hopkins and choosing to come here - you’ve made a great decision

The roommate questionnaire is fairly ambiguous, you are just asked like what times you go to sleep and wake up, whether or not you like to study with music on, etc. It’s not very long at all. With that said, you think they would be iffy on pairing people up, but for the most part, everyone loves their roommate. This doesn’t mean that everyone is bffs with their roommate, but I know most people remain friends or acquaintances throughout their four years here - I know I will with my roommate and my suitemates.

If you want a suite in Wolman, I’m pretty sure you’ll get it. Wolman is the largest freshman dorm and most people live there. I live there right now and it’s great!
