Roommate totally stole my stuff...

I mentioned earlier that my roommate was moving out. Well in his process of leaving, he took a lab notebook from me (a small 10 dollars, but still). Fortunately, he left a notebook that had a few letters in it. Because he stole my stuff, I figured I could pry a little, and I found out that he stole 700 dollars from a reverend and the reverend was pretty ****ed. It was a good read, and it also made me realize:

Never ever trust your roommate! I had no idea mine was a thief...

Why would he want to steal your $10 lab notebook though :P

Even if he did steal $700 from a reverend once (*** haha?), it seems more likely he took the lab notebook accidently due to the fact that it’s completely undesirable.

I have no idea why. He replaced it with his older, used for a semester, lab notebook so the motivation could be the fact that he wanted a new one that had hardly been used. I wish I knew where he lived…

You better hope he doesn’t come back looking for the right notebook with the mail in it. Opening someone else’s mail is against the law.

Haha I won’t need to worry about that. The letter was already open and I’ll just say I threw his notebook out if he comes back for it. Serves him right for making me lose all my lab data. My ta was nice enough to send me some of her own data to make up for that.
