Ross decisions today?

Someone said they were coming out today. Has anyone gotten anything? Do they come out later today? Or are they not coming out at all today? Do they tell you even if you don't get in, or is it just the accepted people that get notified?

Son just called that he got an email with Ross acceptance.

they came out approximately half an hour ago by email

deferred :frowning:
if you guys were accepted what were some of your stats?

i haven’t heard from ross yet, but my friend just got in.
his stats are
act: 35
sat: 2190
gpa: ~4.3 weighted

deferred :frowning: too. Do people get rejected? I might have a slight ray of hope lol

****. I got deferred. How many deferrals make it in? I’m guessing not too many. I had a 33/4.5W. I thought my business might have been a good enough hook. Does this mean we won’t know until mid to late March?

I have no idea what is going to happen to us. I thought I was 100% going to go to Michigan next year but this is kind of discouraging to me. How hard do you think it will be to get in as a freshman?

Got mine!
Accepted!
So so sooo excited!
Good luck to EVERYONE for March! Best of luck!

Oh and stats.
State: Michigan
ACT: 33
GPA: Unweighted 4.0
EC’s: DECA (Marketing Club) 3 years, Varsity Tennis, NHS Pres, Volunteer Impact Program and a few other things like fundraising for MDA. Yeah.
Umm, let me know if you need anything else I suppose…

Honestly, don’t get discouraged. I go to the high school with the highest sender into Michigan and I’ve seen people without the scores get into Ross, and I’ve seen plenty of my older friends get in after they’ve gotten deferred.
GOOD LUCK!!

I don’t think this really affects my decision much. I still think I’ll be able to go and get a 3.8+ freshman year and get in. It kinda sucks that Michigan thinks there will be around 100+ kids better than me. I would never go to Ross if I thought I’d only be about the 100th best. IT"S THEIR MISTAKE! I AM A BUSINESS GOD! (not really)

hey just wondering… for those who were deferred, did your email say " we are holding your application for further review?" I am trying to figure out if this is the same thing as deferred. Thanks!

It’s the same as deferred.
Many college admissions don’t use the word “deferred” in their letters, the statement “we are holding your application for further review” is almost a euphemism for deferred.

bunbun24, do you know approx. what percentage of deferred Ross applicants are accepted later on in the year and/or when I could expect to hear from the school again?

Hmmm, I have yet to hear. To be sure, is this thread for Ross Pre-Admit applicants?
