Ross Pre-admit essay/question

The second supplemental question on the Michigan App says:

Essay #2 (Required for all applicants. 500 words maximum.)
Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School (including preferred admission and dual degree programs) to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?

I plan on applying to the CoE and for Ross Pre-Admit; for this second essay, though, it was not clear to me whether we should incorporate both colleges/schools into one essay, or just a Ross essay, or if we should write two separate essays.

bumpity bump

Incorporate both in one essay, atleast that’s what I did last year, but it was easier for me to link them because I chose economics and ross

incorporating both into one just seems awkward. This is why I really want to be an engineer and best fit for me, oh and by the way if I get into Ross I love business more and it’s an even better fit for me. -_-

Talk about a possibility of a double major? (Don’t even know if its possible) u won’t even have to do it, but u can write about it I guess

I don’t think I would write about both of them in one. For mine, I wrote about English only, and then I did the preferred admission essay. The thing is, Ross doesn’t even look at your essay/application until after you’re accepted, so I think it would probably be beneficial for you to write about engineering in the essay that the engineering school will be looking at. just my 2 cents

Sorry for bringing a post back from the dead. Anyways, I asked Mich. and they were ambiguous in their response. I’m still not sure, is the special Ross essay just the second supplement question over again, also, can you upload more than one document in the common app for the same question/upload button, wasn’t sure how we would submit the Ross essay in addition to an LSA/Engineering supplement.

Bum dum dum dum, bum dum dum dum bump
