Should I write about LSA or Ross on the commonapp?

The prompt is:

"Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School (including preferred admission and dual degree programs) to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?"

I am applying to LSA and as a pre-admit to Ross, which should I write about in the essay?

If you think you have the stats to virtually guarantee admission to LSA (which you should if you are even considering pre-admit) then just write about pre-admit because what your write won’t matter in LSA.

Well, for me, Ross is a reach. Would it hurt my chances of being accepted into UofM if I apply to Ross?

You write two separate essays for the second supplement if you applying for pre-admit Ross. Applying for pre-admit has no effect on your application chances for LSA/Engineering/ w/e school you apply to.
