Are there any recomended books to read for Ross?

Anything fiction. Comic books (um, graphic novels?). Something for fun.

hahahaha thank you

I'm being serious. While in Ross we do our best to get you working. A lot.

And then some more.

So, it'll be summer --- act that way!

work hard, play hard

That's right. I'm gonna be in China for the next two weeks (for a BBA class). Then I have about 7 straight weekends of coaching my daughter's travel softball team. Writing papers and designing classes during the week. Then a week up north. Then teaching a math class for MBAs. Then orientation and we're off and running.

In the words of Warren Zevon, "I'll sleep when I'm dead."

hmm maybe freakonomics? I made a really aweomse list of books to read this summer, and none of them are business-y.

I just finished reading it. It was really fun to read. Also just read "The World is Flat" and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm reading "The Black Swan" right now --- I'm enjoying it a lot but I don't recommend it to anyone right off the bat because it's a bit less generally attractive. Browse through it before buying.

I will also soon be reading "Good to Great", "The Strategy Paradox", "Competing on Analytics", "Knowledge and the Wealth Of Nations", "Everything is Miscellaneous", and "One, Two, Three...Infinity"

I just read "Krakatoa", "The Map that Changed the World", and "The Meaning of Everything".

So, some fun reading, some business reading. But, if work is really hairy, then I'm definitely doing more fun reading than business reading.

wow, thanks! those sound interesting.

I was just gonna say The World Is Flat
