How to try to access:
1. Login via upper right side
2. It may give you "Authorization Failed" message. Then close that tab.
3. Right after you close the tab, from the same browser (without having closed the browser), click to access the same link again.
4. See if you can now access successfully logged in site and see your profile. At the upper right, it should say: "Welcome, John Smith | Log Out"

Try with Chrome browser.

Some features like classified ad still looks to be Authorization Failed. Wondering if every single applicant can access the site or well, just the lucky some.

^Udachi, aren’t you a transfer student from another institution? So you wouldn’t have access to wolverine access in the first place?

Hmm. As of this hour, I no longer get “Authorization Failed” notice in the first place. With Chrome and IE I can sign in right away without any error. Can now access and see classified ad without the Failed error. Just watched the Internet use policy thing in which I had to check bunch of “Agree” boxes. Access personal profile and look for job search.

Only thing I don’t have access is making appointment with the advisers just yet. Also can’t reserve any rooms just yet as I don’t have the kind of access needed apparently. Many of the above things, including changing my profile info was not available when I just started the thread, but now available to access.

^Udachi, I edited my previous post. You need a set of uniquename & password to access Wolverine access. Aren’t you from another institution entirely?

I too was able to log in to iMpact. It’s so odd, I click on my profile and it says “me name” and then under it “BBA Student”. I wonder if this is simply them testing the system/every applicant gets access, or a more telling sign. Does anyone not have access? (who’s a current U-M student)

I asked a few non applicants and they can’t access it. So you at least have to be an applicant I guess. 175 people saw this post and odds are, most of them are applicants to the BBA regular. Just need to wait until someone reports as not being able to access it. We will perhaps never know…

Yankee: If you go to the “Academic” tab, the “Welcome John Smith” at the upper right disappears and states “Log In | Log Out” instead. When you click Registration -> Registration Information -> Incoming Sophomores BBA (at the right), you can see the entire congratulations message.

Still don’t think it means anything. We will know the results soon enough. Is interesting that non applicants cannot access it. Maybe all applicants are given access so that they can review the admission decision when it’s released. That’s my guess.

Dkaye4: Well the admission decision is already posted, at least what you can find and see. (look at my previous post). But the name not appearing may suggest that the page contents could change.

Udachi, if you are transferring from outside of Michigan, don’t worry about it. You won’t have access to the school’s backend until you are admitted and what not. So has nothing to do with your chance. Just strange stuff we are seeing. Though we can also see the congrats message for the MBAs too so it really isn’t much of a thing… Note that name change from upper right of the site.

Dkaye4, I sent you a PM. In regards to the decision thing, it’s just a site glitch. You can access the “Congrats~~” message even without logging in. So that does not tell you anything.

Tried to respond but I haven’t posted enough times so it wouldn’t take my response. The answer to your question is YES. There’s a big blank. You can PM. I can at least read your response!

I don’t think that “Congratulations” thing meant anything, but see if you can scroll down, while signed in, and click “view my profile” on a band to the left. For me, it shows my UM ID picture, my Last name, First name and below it says “BBA student.” Does anyone else have this?
