<p>this isn't specifically for UI but, im asking here because I kno its well known for ROTC. K, well you kno how you can accept an ROTC scholarship, commiting you to that for 4 years? well, I was wondering, can you join ROTC in like sophomore year and still get a scholarship? case being if I'm in the middle of freshman year and decide I'd like to do it starting the next year</p>
<p>ROTC scholarships are controlled and provided by the military services not UIUC and thus the rules are essentially the same regardless of college. I know the army has 4 (start as a freshman), 3 (start as a sophomore), and 2 year (start as a junior) scholarships. I assume the other services have like programs but don’t actually know.</p>
