Rotman, Waterloo Co-Op, or Mcgill Desautels?

I am a Canadian student from BC, so either way I will be living on campus. I feel like these 3 universities all offer very different things (eg: in Toronto there's the city life, at Waterloo there are co-op opportunities, at Mcgill I can sharpen my French, etc)

And as much as I value the rigor and the repuation of the program, school spirit and EC's are also very important to me so I am really torn between the 3 right now...

Can someone who's making a similiar decison help me out?

I would be looking at the programs for McGill and Toronto if I were you. Waterloo business? is that right? most people think of them for engineering and computer science. Also, U of T scar campus offers co-op. As a St. George student that option may be open to you. But double check, don’t quote me on this. And if you are just going to Mcgill to sharpen your french, I would choose Toronto. consider taking french classes at U of T and joining the french club. That will sharpen your french.

thanks for the information!
i think i will go to rotman and try it out

since im not counting on getting off the wharton waitlist anytime soon…

can we send deposits for BOTH mcgill and toronto?

neonblue, yeah you can send deposits for both if you want.

rotman commerce is HARD, that’s all i have to say. but it is the best in canada…

^^I would not go as far as saying Rotman Commerce is the best in Canada, I mean it’s good, but not even considered one of the big 3. I’d say QC is the best, then Ivey>Schulich, then Rotman=Laurier, then everything else.

QC = Ivey
then Schulich

however, i know people that have been accepted at ivey that were rejected by QC and Schulich

The OP has probably moved on…

flyboy and Nerdmobiledriver are both right on this.
