<p>Does anyone know when the Rowan Boulevard project is slated for completion? It looks great so far, but there is still quite a bit of construction to do before all the retailers can move in. Without the new boulevard, Rowan does not offer any type of "downtown" college atmosphere. I wouldn't want to deal with constant construction for four years.</p>
<p>Are they still constructing the buildings, or is it in the interior finishing and finding tenants phase? When I drive by I don’t notice much construction, but maybe there is on the side I don’t see.</p>
<p>njfootballmom - the last time I was in the area, the first floor of the whitney center looked like it was almost finished, just waiting on interior work. In looking at the schematics for the entire project, there are several more buildings to be constructed, including a hotel, supermarket, additional retail shops and a park. I haven’t been in Glassboro in a few months, so I don’t know the status of the remaining project. The plans for the overall project look really great, so I was hoping that the project would be completed before the Fall 2012 school year.</p>
