Rowan University Results Class 2022

Not sure, but I’ve heard in years past, it’s not until sometime in February

2 weeks ago they told me it would be about 2 weeks. Called today and they said there were technical difficulties and they were working on the program to get the emails sent. No ETA was given.

My son got accepted into biomedical engineering program. ACT-30 GPA 3.78 UW. Waiting to hear about merit $.

Merit emails started going out today. Got it this morning!
Good luck to all!

My son received his acceptance into their Business program about a week ago. Have not heard anything about merit yet - anxiously awaiting!

How long ago did you receive your acceptance letter?

@mommfl It seems like the kids getting scholarship notification now for acceptance letters in November and early December.

If your son happens to get an invitation to apply for the honor program, as a business major, make sure he applies. There was news that there was a donation made to support students like that.

@MACmiracle, thanks very much. We’ll be on the lookout. I believe that it will be via e-mail.

@mommfl My D got the honors information with her acceptance letter. If your S did not, you may want to see if he fits the honors admission criteria and inquire about applying.

Scholarship notification seems to be coming by email.

3.6 GPA, 1390 SAT, $11,000 per year scholarship. (Already committed to TCNJ though)

@jerseygirl188 do you mind if I ask you if you received merit aid from TCNJ and if so, how much? That is another school high on our list.

I didn’t get any merit aid from TCNJ, and I wasn’t expecting to.

Thanks. Congrats on TCNJ!

@jerseygirl188 May I ask why you would choose TCNJ and spend $40,000 more? Perhaps you are able to fund it This is none of my business, I am just curious about how these choices are made. In my house, we lay out all the costs for 4 years at each school, subtract merit aid and get a total cost for 4 years at each school. We then look at how much savings we have to spend, and how much we’d have to take in loans. While TCNJ has a great reputation (I’m a graduate) I doubt it is worth it to take on debt to go there instead of Rowan for your undergrad degree. This is just my opinion :0 but I’m curious about your thought process, as maybe there is an angle I’m missing.

  1. I got in Early Decision to TCNJ, because I loved the school that much. Sooooo I can’t really just drop that, you know?

  2. I’m an only child, my parents are very frugal with money and they could easily afford to send me there debt free for at least 3 years. If I have to take out loans for senior year, so be it.

  3. My parents encourage me to go to the best, most competitive, school I can.

I’m not a huge fan of taking out loans, but being an only child really frees up your limitations.

I just got my acceptance letter today, which is suprising considering I applied about 2 weeks ago on Christmas. (All those holidays!) 1540 SAT, 89.5 UW GPA, 9 APs. My major is Biological Sciences.

Did anyone else apply to their 7 year programs?

Congratulations @EmZoWe ! That is exciting news. I hope you get a great scholarship!
