The RSI application says “Please include an unofficial score report with your application and have your school send certified test scores with your transcript.”
Does anybody know what to do if your school doesn’t send AP, SAT, SAT II, and PSAT scores with official transcripts?
@meaa7130 Don’t worry. I had barely 1/4th of a page. Some of us aren’t award people. Sure, it might weaken your chances but you have a chance nonetheless.
@meaa7130 I have no idea what one would put to make it two pages
Well, I guess some math people might put up a lot of online math contests as well as all of those HMMT, Pumac, SMT, etc… I don’t really think that’s all necessary…
Crud. So I did not include unofficial test reports, but I asked my counselor to include my test scores along with the official high school transcript in the sealed envelope. Its fifty-fifty whether she included a test report along with some “official” sticker thing that also reports my test scores, but would CEE consider my app incomplete if they couldn’t find unofficial score reports despite the actual scores?
I think they would not consider your app incomplete if they received the “official” test scores. My school hasn’t even inputted all the official test scores so I only have unofficial for a couple of things.
K nvm my counselor got me covered She included all relevant test reports with the transcript. And I’m sure CEE would understand about your test scores, since they’re letting me send in my 1st semester grades in late (because my school hadn’t inputted them yet)
On a side note, I just reached 200 posts
I’m never posting again.
For everyone who has asked, it is not actually mandatory to include your school’s copy of your test scores. Submitting printouts of your unofficial reports is adequate. I got this info from emailing the RSI office.
@daniiiiis@yaytest33 should our counselor mail a separate envelope to CEE with official scores, or can we put a sealed envelope in our application envelope?
HELP! How do I know if they’ve received all the materials I sent? My letters of rec and transcriptions were sent separately, and they told me I’ll have to check next week to see if they’ve received everything, but by then it’ll be too late! What should I do?
@phyish as long as your communications are digital (ie through email), you should be good, because then, worst case, you could give them proof that you sent it out well in advance and tried to confirm its arrival
