I just got mine. Rejected… Can someone who was accepted post their acceptance email?
On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Excellence in Education, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the thirty-second annual Research Science Institute (RSI) held in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
RSI 2015 will take place at MIT from June 21 to August 1, 2015. You are among 51 U.S. students chosen to attend CEE’s program for young scholars planning careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The RSI also will host 30 students from other nations.
Acceptance email received 9:48pm EDT.
At what time should I expect to recieve the decision by (at the latest)? And did they send acceptances first?

@matg360 Sorry, but there is no way for anyone here to know the answers to your questions. The poster above you said they received their acceptance at 9:48, so it would appear the answer to you’re second question is no. But again, only RSI knows for sure.

If the people who were accepted could post their stats, I think it will be of great help to applicants next year.

Waitlisted, do you guys know how likely waitlisted students are to get accepted?
Well it’s 11:30 pm on a Friday night here on the East coast. I suspect a lot of people will have to wait until Monday or later for their answers. Best of luck to all of you still waiting to hear.

@gangstaduck Indeed. To clarify, the timestamp on Maite’s email was actually 4:59PM EDT, but it arrived in my mailbox ~5 hours later (and got the official timestamp of 9:48PM). It seems like CEE is doing a queue for all the outgoing emails and checking before releasing them. So don’t give up hope, everyone! It might be late, but emails are still coming in.

I feel like at this point the email is alphabetical. Anybody with last name Y or Z receive an email? Probably not.
