^Yeah,even though I know I have absolutely no chance of making it in my state (TX) 
This is so surreal. I remember reading the “RSI 2015” thread last year and now here I am, anxiously waiting for the decisions. To future RSI applicants perhaps stalking this page now and later in the future, good luck! 
You guys I know for a fact they won’t come out on a saturday yet everytime I open my email I look for it
So does anyone have a specific date?
Checking my email every hour for the next week or so is not going to be healthy…

But based on past years, I am going to guess the 8th.
I think the decisions will come out Wednesday the 9th based on the days of the week of previous years.

Do you guys know how specific our chosen research areas in our essays were supposed to be?? I think I went much too specific…
@janice2000 Well no use thinking about it now since decisions are coming up so quickly. I would assume that the more specific it is, though, the better it would be. (Unless maybe the overarching subject area is incredibly specific as well, in which case they might not be able to match you up with a mentor, or so I’ve heard)
I guess this process of anticipation shows us what future scholarship/acceptance decisions will feel like.
To those of you who’ve read past threads, is there a specific time window that we will usually get the decision email?
Her email said mid-March. I would say around March 15. Because of snow some delays were experienced.
I think tau is talking about the time of day the decisions will be released.

I was hoping for tomorrow lol or maybe Thursday. Some people are saying def by the end of this week

I think that it varies very, very widely. Some get it in the morning, and some don’t get it until the afternoon. Last year, apparently some got it on Friday and others got it on Monday (I think).
@Runkeeper I read that last year all decisions were supposed to be sent out on Friday, but because of some server glitch not all of the emails were sent out so people had to email individually to ask for the decision
@tauisgood it seems the first emails go out around 11 am EST, and then they may continue going out for the next couple hours

Hopefully today is the today for decisions (aka my rejection) …woohoo!
