I heard they will out next week, since lot of alumni are busy with Intel finalists interviews.
Ohhhh… wait why would the alumni being busy matter? If it comes out next week that would be the latest they’ve ever released decisions in the last few years.

@srk2017 thanks for the information! Just wondering, what would the alumni’s schedules have to do with RSI decisions? Is it because the RSI committee would be focusing on the alumni’s Intel results?
^^^^ same, I’m not really sure why that would affect RSI decisions. Is it because the same people who judge Intel read apps for RSI? Or RSI wants to wait for Intel decisions in case they affect who they decide to accept?
I am not sure, but now I heard from same source that they are coming out today.
I remember reading somewhere that alumni are part of the selection committee so maybe that’s why? Also @srk2017 stop playing with our hearts T_T
Hello everyone! I went to RSI last year and I think I can clear one or two things up. First, with the Intel STS thing, well, I honestly don’t know how that’d impact results coming out, but it’s possible that CEE staff or selection committee members are at the events held for finalists to either support the students we have there this year, or to make connections with other big names in science education. Second, where are you guys getting the 11AM EST time from? I’m pretty sure I got my decision around 5PM EST last year.
Good luck to all of you! (Also, remember that rejection does not indicate a lack of worth. And if you’re thinking this has all been a waste of time, look on the bright side–at least you can reuse RSI essays on college apps.)
Thanks @ChemIsBae !!! I got the 11 am EST time from looking at what time people over the last 3 years got their decisions. That’s not the time everyone gets their decisions though, that’s just the time they seem to start. People kept getting their decisions for 5-6 hours afterwards.
