Also, for previous Rickoids or RSI applicants, how much do (you think) the essays play a role in acceptance?
Since RSI is super competitive, does anyone know how candidates from remote parts of a competitive state will be judged? I’m from a rural part of a super competitive state where the nearest research opportunities are an hour + away (I’m a bio person which makes it difficult to do research at home) and there’s no public transport. Does anyone know if they take this into account when they look at apps?
