RTF and Animation Questions

Hello, I have questions about the Radio Television and Film’s animation courses, plus a few other things, and I am unsure if I’ll be able to attend the department tours to ask them.

  1. For the 2D animation classes, do they teach you how to do hand drawn animation like old disney cartoons and anime, or flash animation, or both?
  2. What software do they use for the 2D animation classes?
  3. Do they provide students with the software used in class for their personal computers? It is nice to be able to work on projects at home, and have to be on campus all the time for it.
  4. Do you learn how to film on Digital Cameras and Cameras that use film like 16mm Cameras, or just Digital?
  5. Do you learn how to do pyrotechnics, and how to use wires for films?
  6. Is there anything else I should know about the RTF majors and department?

Those are the only questions I have at the moment.
I look forward to responses, and thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Not sure if you’ll get a lot of answers here. You can read the syllabi for those classes at this link and get some answers.

If my settings do not save- just type Animation into the course title and Spring 2017 and hit search.

Thank you!
That answered two of my questions.
