RUNNING events and times THREAD

Well it depends if you think lurking on college forums is a sign of intelligence. I'm only an 800 runner because my coach will not let me run anything shorter

5k: 17:28

rofl, i love this thread. (:

800m: 2:29
400m: 65

1500m: 5:43

400: 53
800: 2:03
mile: 4:42 (only ran once)

well, since track season just ended, i just decided to put my PR’s for sophomore year…
800m - 2:28
1600m - 5:33
3200m - 13:08 <–haha, how sad. first time running that event X|

ughh, i need to improve! and soon!

I’m by no means a runner, and I don’t run very often, but I jogged 4 miles and change in ~25 minutes a few months ago. I was going slowly because I wanted to see how far I could run before having to stop (and hoping that I would secretly already be in ultramarathoning shape :D), but I had to stop after 4 since the shoes I was using had rubbed away a solid millimeter of skin off the back of my feet. Wasn’t really tired at the end, though.

I suggest we do hiking times!

23 miles/8500 ft: 7 hours (carrying 1.5 gallons of water among other things, since there wasn’t any anywhere on the trail)
2.4 miles/1280 ft: 25 minutes

8th grade times:
400m-58.0
800-2:24 (I kind of realllly burn out the last lap)
1600m:5:38
3200m:12:43
Discus (throwers gotta represent): 152’

Throwing>running but running is still good :P

TJ: 37’1
LJ: 17’7
4x100: 48.98
200m: 26.9
400m: 61

i do field events and the occasional relay

800-2:10 (relay split)
Mile-4:48
2 Mile (XC, never run it in track)-11:18
5k-17:59 (XC, on a pretty tough course to boot)

I might as well update my marks considering the track season is over. I improved a lot over last season.

100: 11.92 -> 11.55
200: 24.16 -> 23.54

I think I tried a lot harder this year than I did last year, and it shows.

hmm i only run XC (so I always get out of shape) and not track.
but… we have time trials!
